 Ahaha, Avayl again (same guy from last time). This WAS going to be for Danger Ahead, but because he was wearing stripey socks I figured that I might as well go for Stripes. Oh my god, do not get me started on Cell-Shading! This is the first time I've Cell-Shaded (I even had to look up a tutorial to get it right), and my god, it was the HARDEST THING EVERRR! So I do appreciate any critique, however, do remember it's my first time Cell-Shading. XD and I don't plan to be very good at it untill like... A gazillion cell-shaded pictures later.  Perhaps the picture is too blue, but what can I say, I like the colour blue.  And I couldn't think of any other colour for the background that would go with the whole picture. XDOverall, this picture took ages, and I'm actually really quite happy with it. ^^ Comments would be nice. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. I love the blueness.
It's an overall good picture, but if there's one thing I can tell you about the cel style it's this (as I've been told this a few times)
try not to put the highlights along the shadowlines, it gives it a strange, glossy, metallic look
Other than that though, it looks really good.

Cell Shading is a different kind of shading. Normally I merge it all in and smudge it and make it all shiny using the dodge tool, but I did Cel-Shading for this. It's so hard. -.- And it's VERY hard to explain, but it's more... block colours I guess.
All I can say is that Cell Shading is so hard.
